The Likha Creative Entrepreneurship Summit is set to take place from September 21-23, 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Galleria. This three-day event aims to help Filipino creatives establish and strengthen their online presence so they can stand out in the fastest growing industry of 2023: the creator economy.
The creator economy is a term used to describe the growing number of people who are using online platforms to share and monetize their expertise. This includes not just social media influencers, but freelancers, business and life coaches, fashion and product designers, gamers, and other professionals.
With the creator economy in full swing, Likha Summit recognizes the need for creatives to hinge on a strong personal brand. This year, the focus is to build, grow and monetize their personal brand so they can confidently share value, attract their ideal audience and clients and charge globally competitive rates.
The summit will feature top personalities in the creative space frontlined by Emmy Award-winning designer and business of design educator Chris Do. Joining him are Filipino creative powerhouses Pinky Amador, Lyqa Maravilla, Arun Gogna, and Jennette Cajucom.
Six creator-panelists will also share their experiences on how they used their online presence to attract clients to their services, or work with dream brands, or get audiences to support their careers.
The creator-panelists include top wedding host Eri Neeman, voice-over artist Kathleen Sone, gaming creators Sharlene San Pedro and Bulldog, comedian Red Ollero, and content creator Macoy Dubs.
“This summit is not about getting motivation and inspiration short-term. We aim to give creatives a launchpad to build their mindsets, processes and habits in the next 90 days.” said Likha Creative Entrepreneurship Summit founder, Kia Abrera.
“By providing a platform for creatives to build their skills, learn the business side of a creative path and network with like-minded peers, we can help them achieve their goals and succeed in their careers. In doing so, they are not only able to uplift themselves; they are also able to help the Philippine Economy.”
The Likha Creative Entrepreneurship Summit welcomes all creatives: creators, freelancers, agency owners, marketing teams, artists, solopreneurs, among others – who are looking to take their creative pursuits to the next level.
As an extension of the summit, more experienced creative entrepreneurs can also look forward to ALAB, the first-ever immersive creative and business training bootcamp. It’s a 3-days and 2-nights business and personal development experience to be facilitated by Chris Do.
