One of the speaker’s we are excited about is Kristinna Palomo, who’ll be sharing the importance of having a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy for your company. Giving back is not just good for the heart, it is a way to build a positive reputation around your brand while helping those in desperate need in your local community and around the world.
Kristinna’s expertise is in the fields of philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, and social work. She is a part of the San Francisco based organization called Smarter Good, working globally with the leaders of nonprofit organizations to solve the world’s most intractable problems while creating social impact. She also founded Full Responsibility, a consultancy group that helps guide social entrepreneurs and businesses meet Social Responsible standards of the UN Global Compact.

How long have you been a mompreneur?

What were your top three motivations for starting your own business?
Share my passion in development work. Be able to guide others to have a sustainable impact in their giving. And continue to be a changemaker within various sectors.
What are you most excited about for the upcoming Mompreneur Summit?
Am excited to meet other moms that are interested in finding out about Social Enterprises or who are running one or would like to start one!
What can we look forward to during your talk at the Mompreneur Summit?
I’m thankful for this opportunity to meet other moms interested in what it means to be responsible in their business and how to decide where they want to make an impact – be it direct service or doing a systematic change through their business. There are all sorts of possibilities in this short 30 minutes to provide some guidance in decisions one needs to make when building out their social responsibility plans.
What is your top tip to succeed as a mompreneur?
You have to do what you love and are passionate about. And when you find what that is, excellence will follow by God’s grace.
